 We decided to get rid of all the rotten timber, most of it was so termite infested that you could poke
a finger through the boards, so we decided to use concrete for the rebuild as termites don’t seem to like that very much.We also decided to extend the bar by almost 20 feet. We put in mahogany
windows and doors and then we decided to add a ceiling and a 60,000 BTU A/C unit. Then we added a few more murals and covered all the unsightly posts with mahogany cladding. It looked
pretty good, but now we were short of tables, so we decided to make our own and of course we made them out of  mahogany and steel. We put treated timber panelling on the lower part of the walls. Now we can seat 85 people in the Bar to eat and drink and if we move the Pool Table we can get it up to
close on 100. Finally we decided to add Satellite TV so that people can watch the news and sport and in the evenings.
A Bar isn’t a Bar without some Bar Optics, so we had to get these as well. The Bar is now pretty much as we want it, a place that people can cool off and relax over a cold beer or soda and also enjoy
some of the best food in Belize ina very “posh” atmosphere., but without the “posh” prices.
We offer a full  Menu in the Bar plus Belikin Beer, Stout, Lighthouse, Sodas, and a wide variety of
Spirits and Cocktails. We also offer Red and White Wine by the bottle or the Glass, just to put the finishing touches to that great meal.
We also have a wide range of Ice Cream, Rum & Raisin, Chocolate Chip, Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate. Just the thing to round of a meal on a hot day.
We haven’t finished yet, we want to tile the floor, but this will have to wait until after the rains and we get the next
dry season. We hope that you’ll stop by and check out our Bar, we have a Happy Hour from 17:00 to 19:00 and you can enjoy a drink and some Popcorn or Nachos or why not have a light snack such as a sandwich made with
German Bread or with French Rolls, or one of our delicious Hot Dogs. One of our customers said only yesterday that it was the best Hot Dog he had ever had!
