Accommodation Overview
Set in beautiful scenery, JB’s offers clean comfortable accommodation at prices that won’t bankrupt you
Alas at the moment we only have ONE Cabana to rent. We wanted to build some more cabanas before the rains started, but we were unlucky. The Jungle Hut was leaking through the thatch (as
thatch does) so we decided to re-thatch the place. Then we found all the wood was eaten away in the roof and the posts supporting it were rotted though with termites, so we took it out of
service. The Bird House is used to house some of the staff, so that leaves us with just the Mountain View, which is in any case our best room. When the new dry season starts we plan to
add several more cabanas, a kiddies playground with a paddling pool and hopefully a swimming pool. The Mountain View is fitted with one double bed and one single bed. Rooms are serviced
by our staff, which includes tidying clean linen and clean towels. We do NOT offer room service.
Rooms at this time have Belizean Air-conditioning - open the windows and switch on the  overhead fan! We don’t do room service either. We are
considering adding A/C to the new Cabanas next year
People with RV’s or Caravans can park here for a very small fee, which just covers the electricity and water. Remember, even though we are in a tropical climate bordering on rain
forest, this area suffers from a serious water shortage inasmuch as the ground here is around 300 to 400 feet of white clay. Boerholes are out so we ask everyone to please be careful with
the water as we suffer from no rains for 3-4 months every year and have to rely on the water we can store in our private ponds
